We provide all employees who work 30 or more hours per week with a comprehensive benefits package. Employees are required to complete the forms necessary to elect healthcare benefits upon employment. Coverage will begin the first of the month following the first 60 days after the date of hire. EXAMPLE: if you are hired on January 7, 2016, your benefits will begin April 1, 2016.
The following is a summary of benefits that are available to Robert M. Neff, Inc., employees and their eligible dependents. These benefits are provided to the employee and their eligible dependents as part of the benefit program and there is no out of pocket cost to the employee.
Medical – The medical benefit is a limited benefit indemnity plan and is compliant with the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This plan is designed to cover the costs of employee’s everyday medical needs, paying a fixed benefit amount for services such as doctor’s visits, diagnostic tests and x-rays, hospitalization, accidents, emergency room, surgery, anesthesia, intensive care, wellness services and more.
Dental – This fully insured comprehensive dental plan provides eligible employees and their covered dependents with the preventative care, basic care, major care and orthodontia services. Employees may visit a dentist within the DentalGuard Preferred Select Network o dentists in over 120,000 locations across the country to minimize out-of-pocket dental expenses.
Vision–Employees save 10% – 60% off provider retail prices on eyeglasses, contacts, eye exams and surgical procedures from Coast to Coast Vision network, which is the most comprehensive vision network in the United States. There are no limits on frequency of use and no paperwork.
Life Insurance – Eligible employee receive a group term life benefit of $50,000 which includes an additional $50,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment. Spouse term life of $2,500 and children term life of $1,250 (6 months to age 26).
Short Term Disability– This benefit is for employees only and offers up to $300 per week up to a maximum of 13 weeks for a qualified accident or illness. There is a 15 day elimination period.
HealthiestYou – This service allows employees to talk to a doctor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week either via phone or online video anytime they medical care, no matter where they happen to be. These doctors can diagnose, treat and prescribe medication, if necessary, for many medical issues.
Compass Professional Health Services – Compass serves as your personal healthcare advisor. This service can assist you with your healthcare needs no matter how complex or simple. Everything from finding a doctor to solving a billing problem, Compass is just a phone call or email away.
401K Retirement Plan – Funding of your 401K account begins the first day of employment. The amount funded depends upon the contract that you are running. The funds are initially deposited into the guaranteed portfolio by default. You have the option to set up an on-line account and change your allocation of funds to different investments.
Vacation – You are eligible for two weeks of paid vacation after one year of employment. At ten years, you are eligible for three weeks of paid vacation and at 20 years, you are eligible for four weeks of paid vacation. Vacation is ONLY paid after your anniversary date, which is considered your first day of employment.
Holidays – There are 10 paid holidays per years: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Employee MUST complete probationary period prior to receiving paid holiday(s).
Direct Deposit/Payroll – Robert M. Neff Inc., requires that all employees sign up for direct deposit. The pay cycle is bi-weekly.
